Secretary of Tourism of Mexico, Gloria Guevara Mango said today that Mexico remains a major tourist destination in the U.S. with its strong economy and the variety of destinations.
When meeting on Thursday with investor’s airlines, hotels and travel agencies in Beverly Hills, the official stressed that the influx of American tourism to Mexico remains constant despite the difficult U.S. economic situation.
Considered that this, rather than a handicap is a great opportunity for Mexico to offer tourist attractions.
Mango Guevara was accompanied by Secretaries of Tourism of the states of Yucatan, Baja California, Jalisco and Sinaloa, who also took the opportunity to broadcast upcoming events in their regions.
“We came to strengthen our advocacy campaigns and state that the same money thus. Traveling to Mexico may be more fun to combine sun, beach and archeological sites, as well as hospitality and first class services,” he said.
