The strengthening of rural tourism in the Ayden region within the entire local tourism, aims to work agreement signed by regional directors Senator America Soto, and INDAP, Carlos Henniker.
The agreement was signed in the House of Rural Tourism in Coyhaique operating point of contact between the more than 30 rural tourism service providers who work from La Junta to Villa O’Higgins and the domestic and foreign tourists who come to the area, looking for accommodation, horseback riding, trekking, roasted Patagonian and experiences related to natural experiences.
The agreement provides for “joint efforts to promote, encourage and strengthen the development of rural tourism in the Ayden region, in order to position the activities associated with this special interest tourism as a quality tourism product that can be enhanced, promoted and marketed.”
INDAP director, Carlos Henniker, said: “The initiative is part of the Ayden Plan and strengthening public-private joint with a view to helping members of the rural tourism networks associated INDAP involved and part of the regional tourism identified as a target of special interest tourism, in Patagonia. ”
Specific actions are to develop management skills, management and marketing, facilitating the connection between supply and demand, lowering the barriers that limit the competitiveness of microenterprises and strengthen the position of rural tourisms a competitive alternative in the regional market .
